It’s time to enter a new realm of flavor and satisfaction. With this compact book of succulent salmon recipes, you can eat well and feel even better!

The most common question people ask me is “Where do you get all that energy from?” and they’re surprised when my answer is salmon.

Thick, tender, buttery, moist, meaty… now that’s a fish you really need to swim upstream with! To me, salmon is the sexiest food on the planet. Every time I sink my teeth into it, I feel a burst of bliss in my mouth.

The recipes in this book place salmon at the forefront and do not include dairy, grains, gluten, added sugar, fruit, or nuts. In my journey to eat and feel healthy, I’ve found that cutting out these foods has improved my gut health (no more feeling bloated and constipated) and eliminated my exhaustion and fatigue.

Being allergy-friendly, avoiding food intolerances, and catering to autoimmune diseases can feel discouraging, but my recipes are simple, creative, and pack a flavorful punch. You can indulge and be healthy by eating dishes like my Salmon Fettuccine with a “cheese” sauce that does not contain any dairy.

Seduced by Salmon is completely devoted to singing the praises of salmon, exploring the most delicious ways to eat it, and tempting you to try it. If you’re on a ketogenic diet, interested in seafood, or trying to start a healthy lifestyle, this book is for you.

Order your copy today and discover the mouthwatering world of salmon.

ABOUT SEDUCED BY SALMON

Thick. Buttery. Moist. Juicy. Meaty. Tender. Hearty. Succulent.

I am describing salmon here people, get your minds out of the gutter!

Perhaps my brain is the only one in the gutter because, to me, salmon is the sexiest food on the planet and causes mouthgasmic bliss every time I sink my teeth into it. Throughout the pages of this tantalizing, dare I say, masterpiece (I am biased, yes, know), Seduced By Salmon, my goal is to, well, seduce you, into agreeing with me, not just with 69 succulent recipes that will have you *hopefully,* drooling (Salmon Bacon Wrapped Asparagus, anyone?), but with why salmon is a fish I believe you really need to swim upstream with!

What makes this book dedicated to all things salmon different from the hundreds of other salmon books available?

It’s written by me, The Salmon Queen, who happens to subsist mainly on salmon, eating roughly eight to ten pounds a week. Yes, I said a week. There are certain foods you won’t see in the recipes showcased due to food intolerances, allergies, and autoimmune diseases that have me cutting out whole food groups from my diet, which include dairy, grains (and gluten), added sugar, fruit, and nuts. Yet here I am, offering up a Salmon Fettuccine with a “Cheese” Sauce dish, without, any cheese or heavy cream!

Okay, so I obviously wrote this book for all of you, who may not have any food intolerances, or allergies or live a specific lifestyle, but I needed to taste test every recipe created for this book in order to feel confident that I would be able to whet your appetite every time you scan the recipe pages! That being said, I am pretty positive you won’t be missing any of those ingredients because this book’s “buttery” star truly steals the show!

WHY SALMON?

Why do I eat salmon every single day? Well, it’s because the pink swimmer makes me feel like a million, no, scratch that, a billion dollars! I am not bloated, gassy, constipated, tired, or feel cloudy when I consume it (only a few of the symptoms that made me realize I had intolerances and allergies to so many other foods, hence why a lot of specific food groups will not be featured in the recipes you’ll find in this book). Instead, salmon has me energetically bouncing off the walls, as if 600 mg of caffeine was dumped down my gullet. I kid you not, the question “where do you get all your energy from?” is one of the most popular questions I get asked regularly, and my response is always, salmon.

ABOUT GiGi

GiGi Ashworth is an allergen-friendly food personality across social media platforms, with a master’s certificate in Nutrition Communications from Tufts University (2015).

Prior to obtaining her master’s degree, she earned her broadcast journalism degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder (2010), and even worked as the 3 AM weather girl at Denver’s ABC affiliate. When she finished her studies, she moved to Los Angeles (she now lives in Georgia with her husband and two baby boys, who find her adoration for salmon quite comical) to pursue a career in the entertainment hosting field.

That career focus led her to start a humorous blog and YouTube channel called GiGi Eats Celebrities that showcases her quirky personality and her extreme passion for realistic nutrition. These social channels turned into platforms where people with diet, nutrition, and health concerns, as her own enthusiasm for such topics stems from her severe diet-related issues (Crohn’s disease, celiac disease, ulcerative colitis, IBS, and no large intestine), can get advice (such as traveling with food restrictions) along with allergen-friendly/keto diet approved recipes that everyone can enjoy.

Her social media channels granted her the ability to author her first book, She Does Keto, which is an informational cookbook, just like Seduced By Salmon, however, it covers the topic of the ketogenic lifestyle (and also contains 115 recipes). She was tapped to write a book on this topic because she has been living a clean ketogenic lifestyle for the last 18 years before it was even a “thing,” and continues to eat this way daily.

As a devoted fitness enthusiast, a rather blunt and light-heartedly vulgar allergen-friendly foodie that has been dubbed the Salmon Queen (she eats roughly eight pounds of salmon a week and has been doing so for the last ten plus years), she has been told that she is proof that you can educate and inform as well as entertain all at the same time!
