The numbers on the adjustment knob refer to the actual thickness of the slice in millimeters. This allows for the highest precision in slice thickness adjustment (especially the thinnest and most common) with the highest repeatability.
BUILT-IN SHARPENER: All Red Line slicers have a built-in blade sharpener with a two separate movement operating system to increase sharpening precision. You can position the sharpener manually simply by lifting and rotating it. The sharpener has only one position that does not require any adjustment, thereby ensuring the perfect angle for optimal sharpness.
SAFETY FEATURES: Aluminum product press holder with disarmed position to prevent accidental release. The complete closure of the gauge plate for maximum safety during cleaning operations and CE Block to prevent its opening when the plate is out of place.
