Step 1: Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (200°C).
Step 2: To a heavy pot over medium heat, add the olive oil and butter. Saute onions, for 3-5 minutes. Add in your garlic, parsley, and dried spices, italian seasoning, oregano and cook for an additional minute.Â
Step 4: Now add in the pasta sauce, vegetable stock, penne pasta, ricotta cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix everything together.Â
Step 6: Cover and Bake for 40 minutes.
Remove the lid after 40 minutes and give it a little mix. Place your fresh mozzarella and fresh basil on top. Place the pan back into the oven for an addition 5 minutes.Â
Step 9: Serve
Let the pasta bake rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with a side of garlic bread or a salad for a complete meal.
